Quality Processing

From the very early stages of the USPS’ quality program MPTQM (Mailpiece Preparation Total Quality Management) through now, API has operated with the finely tuned quality procedures brought forth by MPTQM certification. Practicing quality guidelines created through the collaboration of presort houses and the USPS, your mail will be processed more accurately.

Security

We offer clients a secure building. Sixteen cameras observe the total premises: offices as well as plant, inside as well as outside, and upstairs as well as downstairs. We do thorough reference and job history checks for new hires, drug screenings prior to hire for drivers and random drug screening. The building is locked down and in view of the cameras. Your mail is secure.

Disaster Recovery

Having two production plants allows us and our clients flexibility regarding the recovery from surprising and extended work interruptions. There is a contingency plan in place to utilize the opposite site’s equipment to process critical mail. Choosing API is the best decision to keep your mail moving in the worst of circumstances.

Powerful Back-up

We have a generator for electrical emergencies that is strong enough to power all the needs of our operation and office. Even extended power outages will not affect the flow of your mail.

Air-conditioned Work Environment

Our plant is completely air-conditioned. Implementing this improved efficiencies with employees as well as machines. This also allowed us to escalate our security practices. Your mail benefits from the better atmosphere.

Technicians on Site

We have contracted with the manufacturer of our sorters to have four fulltime, onsite technicians (covering all shifts of operation). Along with that staff furnished by our equipment manufacturer, comes a supply of parts. When all else fails, we are in very close proximity to the manufacturer for quick delivery of parts. This keeps the machines at top performance and our customers’ mail processed as quickly as possible.
